Alais Clay

Alais Clay is a musical activist, community motivator, and founder of StarTribe Alliance (startribealliance.org) .  Alais works to raise global consciousness and empower individuals and communities through carefully crafted lyrics, education and events.  

Born in Barranquilla, Colombia in 1985 and raised in Miami, FL, Alais learned spanish as a first language and english by the age of 4.  Drawn to poetry from an early age, she raps fluently in english and spanish for international audiences and her love of language and passion for planetary stewardship reflects throughout her catalog of music.   

Alais began recording and playing shows in 2007 and released her debut album, 'Reverse Hypnosis' on 11.11.11.  She has since opened for acts such as KRS-1, Immortal Technique and Ziggy Marley.  Her music ranges from the socio-political, revolutionary, to spiritual/mystical to deeply personal reflections through her own awakening and evolving process.   Because of the nature of her message, Alais has established a name for herself amongst the liberty-movement community and her music has been featured in documentaries and several marches including Occupy, NDAA Protests, Federal Reserve Protests, March Against Monsanto, Million Mask March Denver, Anti-Fracking Rallies, No-DAPL Protests, Environmental Action Days and more.

Her latest album, Elevated Frequencies, released 12.21.17, mixed and mastered by Totem (totemuzik.ninja) features conscious hip hop artists, Steve Grant, Freedom Movement, Mike Wird and continues to spread a message of awareness, hope, and unity around the globe.
